The Colex Co-Op is its own granpa…
The Co-Op originated from the now defunct Black Hole Project. BHP is now a project to save old software from extinction. A phenomena that seems to have gripped the world famous phpBB2 forum software.
The Co-Op was founded as a means to help others within the project earn their bread and their keep, while being able to maintain The Black Hole Project. This however, failed, for the most part. Mostly due to shit management.
Pretty soon we decided the co-op was a higher priority in these times of turmoil. So Administratively, The Black Hole Project went UNDER the Co-Op. So, that’s how Colex is its own granpa.
But what do you actually DO?
The Co-Op is in charge of putting individuals into working, paying positions and positions of Self Employment. With Knowledge as our key to power.
This includes providing many free services, some premium services, and we just collect a load of junk on this website.
Depending on level of contribution, any proceeds (which is never much) are divided amoung us. Our business outfit is completely transparent.
A fraction of the proceeds made from the site are given to fund our sub projects.
