Growing up, I was blessed to be raised in Christian home. I heard the gospel every week at church yet I sought to find my satisfaction from sports, friendships, and making my parents proud. However, when I was 10 my brother was baptized which led me to having a lot of questions for myself. I saw the need I had in my own life for Jesus and saw how the Gospel was for me for the first time. I knew that there was nothing that I could do but it was what Jesus had already done for me.

After accepting Christ into my life, I struggled finding community with other believers and live apart from those around me. It stayed like this until I was introduced to Young Life in high school and met other Christians that wanted to see their classmates come to Christ. I grew in evangelism and saw the significance of community as a Christian.

Entering college, I knew I wanted to find community with other believers. My older sister had been involved with Campus Outreach throughout college so she connected me with the staff. I was immediately poured into through a discipleship group and saw Campus Outreach as a vehicle to spread the Gospel to my teammates on the Cross Country team. God showed me a lot of favor and taught me a lot in evangelizing with my teammates and other students on campus. The Lord has instilled in me a passion to point college students to walk with Jesus. Iā€™m excited to get to a campus soon!
