ANNIE SOSTOK

Campus Staff, Centre College

I was blessed to be adopted at birth by a couple who loved Jesus and taught me about Him from a young age. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was little; yet, I struggled with finding my identity in success and functioning as if I could keep God's love by living a moral lifestyle. During college, God helped me understand that my moral living wasn't what God was looking for and my deep shame from self-centered decisions couldn't stop His love for me: He wanted a relationship that rested on His own grace towards me through the free gift of Jesus.

During my senior year at Covenant College I was introduced to Campus Outreach. CO's commitment to the local church, their mission to take the Gospel to college students, establishing students' faith while equipping them to share about Jesus with peers and whoever they might encounter, was compelling. I attended my first Summer Project in 2016 after college graduation. While there, God made it clear that building meaningful relationships that led to meaningful Gospel opportunities and to discipleship was what I was being called to.

The fall of 2016 I joined Campus Outreach Lexington and began ministering to students at the University of Cincinnati. In 2019, I transitioned to Danville, Kentucky where I have been ministering to Centre College students since.
